We are not only travel experts, but we are trusted advisors – like your accountant or lawyer but way more fun! We work on a consultative basis to design trips customized to YOU considering your tastes, preferences, and budget.
We are dedicated to you being delighted with our services and rely on your referrals for our continued growth and success. We always make recommendations based on our sincere belief in what will be the best experience for you.
Because of the high level of customization, detail, and expertise, we bring to your trips, we do charge fees for certain services. See the full pricing schedule and policies below.
Custom itinerary services.
This is our most requested service and covers the nuts and bolts of a complete itinerary. Our rates may vary depending on a variety of factors from the number of travelers to trip complexity.
$550+ for up to 4 people, assuming 7 nights or fewer of travel
Additional $50 / person / week thereafter.
Includes:
100% custom-tailored trip based on your individual interests and budget;
Consultation with deciding on destination(s), lodging, transportation, and local activities;
Research, planning, confirming, and reconfirming all reservations within a collective of vetted resources;
Virtuoso and preferred partner pricing and amenities;
Access to your custom itinerary via an easy-to-use app; and
Peace of mind while traveling with 24/7 back-up assistance available.
Cancellation policy:
Abbay’s Escapes reserves the right to charge up to 10% of the total travel itinerary price if canceled within 45 days of travel. Re-bookings or postponements will incur a fee of $50 per hour. Travel insurance may cover these cancellation fees.
Revisions policy:
While unexpected events can necessitate substantial revisions or last-minute revisions, please note these requests can be as time-intensive as designing an initial custom proposal. Abbay’s Escapes reserves the right to charge fees for these types of revisions as outlined below.
Any destination change after the initial proposal will incur additional research fees ranging from $50+ for a new city to $200+ for a new country.
Any reservations such as bookings for restaurants, activities, etc. that are not confirmed at least two weeks prior to travel will incur last-minute booking fees at a rate of $50 per hour.
Hotel-only services.
Includes hotel reservation assistance, access to our preferred partner perks, and amenities where applicable. These fees often pay for themselves because our relationships often result in preferred treatment, pricing, and perks like resort credits & amenities.
$200: Research includes up to 3 personalized recommendations.
$50: No research. Let us know the hotel property, room category, and travel dates, and we will waive any fees. We book it, and you simply take advantage of our preferred partner perks.
Revisions policy:
While unexpected events can necessitate substantial revisions or last-minute revisions, please note these requests can be as time-intensive as researching and proposing our initial recommendations. Abbay’s Escapes reserves the right to charge fees for these types of revisions as outlined below.
Requests for additional personalized recommendations (beyond the 3 personalized recommendations included) will incur additional research fees ranging from $50 per hour.
Any reservations included as part of our concierge fee above such as bookings for restaurants, activities, etc. that are not confirmed at least two weeks prior to travel will incur last-minute booking fees at a rate of $50 per hour.
Cancellation policy:
Abbay’s Escapes reserves the right to charge up to $50 per hour for all bookings that are canceled, rebooked, or postponed within 45 days of travel. This will help compensate us for time spent working with partners to ensure all requested adjustments are made. Travel insurance may cover these cancellation fees.
Airline ticketing services (on request).
We have a dedicated air desk with over 40 years of combined experience managing travel for luxury clients. Their extensive industry knowledge, 24/7 flight monitoring, and assistance with any unexpected schedule changes provide for a seamless experience. If anything goes wrong, we’ll handle all the logistics and save you the frustration.
$75+ domestic, capped at $250 per household.
$125+ International, capped at $500, respectively, per household.
Abbay’s Escapes reserves the right to adjust these fees at any time due to extraordinary increases in scope. We will communicate any such changes in fees immediately.
Further, all fees charged for services are non-refundable. For all other partners involved in your trip (hotels, guides, cruise lines, etc.) you are responsible to adhere to their individual cancellation policies which we outline in our quotes.
